William Lebovics & Guy Levin of YESODI | Building the Future of AI-Powered Social Commerce
The Tech Founders Supplementing Big Social Media with a Social Commerce Platform Where Entrepreneurs Own Their Data, Audience, and Profits
Question 1
After successfully building and exiting three software companies, what problem did you see in today's social media landscape that made you believe it was time to create YESODI?
William Lebovics: Each of my previous builds taught me the same lesson from a different angle. At PwC, we built the A&A software for the State and Local Tax (“SALT”) group that automated the preparation of SALT returns. I saw how the right platform can take a process spread across dozens of people and jurisdictions and turn it into a single engine. Later, we built a platform connecting consultants to family offices, which showed me the value of trusted, curated networks. Deals happen where quality is protected. And at IDW Media, we created a pipeline of content for the entertainment studio that resulted in shows like Locke & Key, V Wars, and October Faction on Netflix, and Wynonna Earp on SyFy. There I watched creators generate enormous value that was ultimately monetized by the distribution platforms, not the people who made it. That is exactly the problem in social media today: entrepreneurs and creators generate the content, the audience, and the data and the platform keeps the profits. YESODI exists to reverse that.
Guy Levin: I have spent over twenty years building tech companies managing thousands of people across ventures in AI, marketing technology, and digital production. In every one of them, we were building on top of platforms we did not control renting our audience through ads and hoping an algorithm did not change. As an AI developer since 2017, I knew we could architect something better: a platform where the data, the audience, and the revenue belong to the entrepreneur. That conviction is YESODI.
Question 2
For years, creators and entrepreneurs have relied on platforms that monetize their attention while keeping the profits. How does YESODI fundamentally change that relationship by putting ownership, data, and revenue back into the hands of users?
Guy Levin: The traditional model sells your attention and your data to advertisers. YESODI is built on the opposite premise: user-owned data and profit sharing. Value flows back to the entrepreneurs who create it, not to intermediaries. Members literally get paid to show up, you earn coins just for being present and engaging and you can profit-share with the creators you love, so success is shared rather than extracted. Your algorithm follows your rules: you control how your content moves, rather than paying a black hole for reach.
William Lebovics: We want to keep the content intentional, impactful and informative. I want to see in real time, progress, discoveries, key milestones of my fellow entrepreneur's
