UCS Cohorts (Altheu) is a National Jewish Honors Program designed for middle school students enrolled in public and secular private schools. The program emphasizes the intersection of Jewish heritage and academic excellence, offering comprehensive education across three core areas: Jewish History and Civilization, Modern Israel & Zionism, and the American Jewish Experience. Students participate in core seminar classes, engage in national debate competitions, and attend educational field trips to deepen their understanding of Jewish culture and history. The program offers two cohort schedules: Sunday cohorts from 5:30, 6:45 PM and Monday cohorts from 6:30, 7:45 PM. Led by the Milestone Organization, this honors program aims to cultivate informed, engaged young Jewish leaders through rigorous academic study and experiential learning.
