Connections on Yesodi let a member reach another member through defined connection types and build a network on the platform. The feature is free to use for every member.
What connections are
A connection is a link between two members that has a defined type rather than a single generic action. When a member sends a connection request, the recipient receives a notification and can accept it. This structure records how members relate to each other, which supports discovery and trust across profiles.
How to connect with a member
A member opens another member's profile and selects the connect option. A short optional note can be added to the request so the recipient understands the reason for the connection. The recipient is notified and can accept the request, after which the two members are connected.
Connections, followers, and chat
Connections are distinct from followers and following, which track who watches a member's activity. Connections are also distinct from chat, which handles direct messaging between members. A member can use connections, following, and chat together to reach and stay in touch with the people and brands that matter to them.
Why connections help growth
Defined connections make a member's network legible to other members and to the platform's discovery features. A member who is well connected can be found more easily through the People and Brands directories, Explore, and Search. Connections work alongside the referral program, which rewards members for inviting others.
Do connections on Yesodi cost money?
No. Connecting with other members is free. Coins are an optional internal credit used for extras such as game wagers and some AI tools, and are not required to connect.
